MVP is a french acronym standing for Musée Virtuel Personnel. In English it is not much different, you should translate it to: Personnal Virtual Museum. There are so much acronyms in computer science, that I said to myself that adding one to the list won't disturb anybody ;-) The MVP is a web gallery where I expose my private collection of old computers and game consoles.
Site update 20th of july 2003
It has been quite a long time that I have not updated the english part of the site. So this time it will be quite a major update. Since august 2002, I've collected several new machines. Here are they: Atari Falcon 030, Philips VG 8250, a second commodore 64 , a second Atari Portfolio, a Tandy Colour Computer 1, a Tandy Colour Computer 2, a Tandy TRS 80 model 4 , a Atari 520 STF, a Atari 260 ST, a Dragon 32, a Coleco Vision console and a Intellivision console. I now have 54 machines in my collection.
Site update (August the 12th 2002).
Since the last update in June, there are a lot of things to say. First of all, I had some great contact with other people who are collecting old stuff. May I introduce you the excellent site The MSX Games Box and also these two from other collectors: Luc et Fabrice.
I recently bought a digital camera. This will allow me to perform more frequent updates of the site. Earlier I had to count on co-workers that would lend me their cameras.
Since June, here are the machines that joined my private collection: Timex 1000, Philips VG 8000, Schneider CPC 464, Vectrex, Commodore 64 modèle 1, Thomson TO7. Six new machines that grow the collection to a total of 43 machines!
If you want to be warned each time the site is updated, leave me your e-mail address
