Model Color Classic (aka Performa 250)
Description Introduced in 1993, the Performa 250 is a Mac Compact. Compact simply because the central unit and the monitor are merged in a single box. This machine runs a 68030 at 16MHz and has 4Mb RAM. The screen resolution is 512x384 which makes the games performing badly or nut running at all on this platform. The machine is started and shutdowned via a key on the keyboard : it took me a long time to figure it out ;-) As a conclusion, this machine is well designed, the screen is small in size but very sharp. On the picture, you can notice a small hole above the monitor : it is a built-in microphone.
